What you'll do:
- Independent processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable, maintenance of master data and reconciliation of accounts;
- Checking customer data and VAT-relevant facts in German and international tax law;
- Reconciliation and maintenance of G/L accounts;
- Assisting with the preparation and auditing of annual financial statements (year-end postings) and the associated preparation of all documents;
- Assisting with company audits, independent communication with auditors and tax advisors;
- Advance sales tax returns/ZM returns/OSS returns;
- Carrying out intercompany reconciliations;
- Preparation of various evaluations and reports;
- Daily checking of invoices and processing of payment transactions;
- Responsibility for account reconciliation and posting of bank statements/credit cards/cash register/payment systems/etc.;
- Accounting support for our international companies in America, the Netherlands, Dubai, etc.
What we expect:
- Completed training as a tax specialist (Steuerfachwirt), accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or Bachelor of Arts degree, or equivalent training if applicable;
- Knowledge of DATEV;
- Knowledge of MS Office package
- Upper-Intermediate level of English;
- Independence, ability to work in a team and flexibility.
