From October 10th through the 14th, employees from the UAE team attended GITEX GLOBAL, the world’s largest, most inclusive tech & startup event. This event unifies the world’s most influential ecosystems by advancing global business, economy, society and culture through the sheer power of innovation.
Elina, the Marketing Manager of Admitad’s MENA division, shared a few of her thoughts regarding her experience of the event: “It was an absolutely unique experience. The venue was super huge, containing thousands of innovative projects which drastically expanded my horizons. It was highly interesting to attend workshops at Marketing Mania, the conference for marketers which is part of GITEX, and listen to industry leaders in the MENA region. Furthermore, it was great to meet like-minded people and inspire each other. Definitely got lots of insights and takeaways.”

This year Admitad has been nominated in 5 (five!) categories at the #GPMA 2022. It gave our employees an excellent opportunity to visit London on 17-18 October, network and attend #PIlive, the performance marketing event with 3000+ visitors, 60+exhibitors, and 80+ speakers from all over the world.

eCommerceConf 2022, USA (online)
Evan Johnson, Managing Director USA at Admitad, performed as a speaker at the eCommerceConf on October 18 along with other leaders from the industry.
“My topic was about Affiliate Marketing being a cost-effective digital marketing channel in a world of increasing advertising costs. I enjoyed this conference because I spoke with a variety of eCommerce professionals, both new and experienced, and had several interesting conversations with people interested in affiliate marketing”, commented Evan.
Marketplace Conference, São Paulo
The event, which took place on October 18, was well organized and very diverse, with a lot of content regarding the market, from logistical to pricing challenges and their effects on the operation. More than 50 speakers shared their knowledge on the 6 different stages.
One of our team`s favorite talks was a Google study that correlated Black Friday and the World Cup – events that will take place in the same period for the first time. The research showed a Black Friday shopper and a World Cup fan behavior separately in these two events and then compared them. The audience, curious about the analysis of this unprecedented situation, learned that the World Cup does not overshadow the performance of Black Friday. Likely, the growth of some categories, like sporting goods or electronics, such as TVs, may occur.

International Education Show, Sharjah
From October 19th through the 22nd, our UAE Team participated in the International Education Show, one of the most popular higher education events in the MENA region.

E-commerce Poland Trade Fair, Warsaw
On October 27, our Polish team participated in the E-commerce Warsaw Expo.
“It was a great chance for us to meet other professionals passionate about the e-commerce industry. As the exhibitions provided different and sometimes very innovative solutions for online businesses, it was exciting to see how the sector is evolving. The diversity of the attendees also improved our understanding of the obstacles that the SME segment encounters daily at work”, shared Katarzyna, Marketing Manager Poland at Admitad.
