For this year’s summer party, the Mitgo Ukraine team decided to do something a little different. Travelling to a surprise location on the outskirts of Kyiv, the team was divided into six groups. With nature and the Dnipro river as their backdrop, the groups would spend the day facing off against each other – in the spirit of fun and team-building, of course – in a series of wild and exciting challenges.
After being given a map of stations to overcome, teams went from activity to activity, taking on challenges on both land and water, from rafting to SUP-boarding and darts. For each activity accomplished, teams received a piece of the final puzzle. At the end, the teams combined their hard-earned puzzle pieces together, completing a picture that read ‘Mitgo Ukrainian Power’.
With the sun going down and the friendly competition concluded, the whole team came together under an incredible bonfire-lit sunset. Barbecues were fired, food was shared and the celebrations began – ending with a team that was happy, full and fully united.
Here are some impressions of our team members:
“Everything was cool: the organisation, the location, the people. We got to know our colleagues even better in an informal atmosphere and experience unforgettable emotions through teamwork and competitions.” – Viacheslav Mezentsev, Head of Monetization Services
“It was my first team-building event in the company and I must say, it was a great way to spend the day with a team that partially works remotely. I really liked the variety of competitions offered both on land and on water… I wanted to try everything. We were very happy that the management provided this opportunity – especially in such a difficult time for us.” – Alina Tsokur, Junior Advertiser Relation Manager
“In times of hybrid working, such events are important for preserving team spirit and unity. Active team building allowed us to bond, sparking each other with positive emotions.” – Feodosii Kovalenko, Country Manager UA & Head of Admitad UA
“At the beginning, the thought of being active in the 30°+ sun scared not only me, but also my colleagues. But when we arrived at the location, we realised that we could do it all. It was as if we had moved to some other reality – beautiful nature, fresh air and the Dnipro, everything that is unusual for office workers.” – Ivanna Gritsenko, Senior Advertiser Relation Manager
