Mitgo shortlisted for prestigious Employer Brand Management Award

Mitgo has been nominated for the “Best Management of the Employer Brand Following a Change of Mission, Positioning, or Management” award – something that reflects our dedication to our team and company culture.

Communicate magazine’s EBMA awards is an annual event that recognises companies demonstrating a strong commitment to achieving the best for both employees and prospective employees. It celebrates business excellence in attracting, engaging and retaining employees.

Hundreds of companies apply each year and this year’s shortlist includes world-class names such as Jaguar, Sky, Deloitte and Unilever.

Our competition submission centred around the founding Mitgo and our process for branding it. Our goal was to create a new parent company which accurately and faithfully represented the many different businesses under this new corporate umbrella.

We described how our entire team was encouraged to get involved from the very beginning. Starting with the company name itself, to defining company values, mission statements and visions, our 700+ employees, working across 10+ offices worldwide, had direct, democratic influence on all creative decisions in shaping this new firm.

“We believe that our employee-first approach has had a great effect on our workforce, increasing engagement and encouraging inter-team cooperation. Our employees shaped this company. They will continue to shape it into the future” – Elizaveta Orlova, Chief Human Resources Officer at Mitgo.

To us, having a strong employer brand goes beyond fancy recruitment ads and whimsical slogans. It’s an intrinsic part of the ethos and ethics of our organisation, and one dictated by our team themselves. We want employees to engage with us, to feel a part of us, to help change us for the better – and to stay with us for the long run.

Category winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony in London on September 21st 2023 – and we are more than excited to hear the results.
